How we got started

      After serving eight years in the United States Air Force I decided to take my passion for woodworking to a more serious level. Operating and managing my own business has been very rewarding and incredibly humbling. I got an interest in woodworking when for Christmas one year I decided I wanted to build something for my then girlfriend, she loved the gift I made her which was a chalkboard mail holder. After that first project, I was hooked on making things and started putting together a small workshop of only a few tools. Fast-forward a few years and I've made a little business out of my hobby and married the woman of my dreams. Who knew that building something so simple would have led me down this path?  

     Lockhart Creations is an outlet for me to create new things and continue the learning process with this skill that can take decades to master. I thoroughly enjoy the process from concept to physical product. I'm hoping that you'll give me the opportunity to create something amazing for you.  ​
